Welcome to the new blog!

We are so excited with the changes we have been making, it seems like it has been forever coming. With spring right around the corner(hopefully, dang groundhog and his stupid predictions!) we find it fitting that we are freshening up the business with some much needed upgrades. We have so many fun things planned for this year and can’t even wait to get started!

Thank you for all the great comments on the “Intermission” post. I wrote it for a blogging contest that Lawrence Chan, one of my favorite fashion photographers, was hosting. The contest was to write a blog post with the subject “Why I want to go to WPPI” and he was giving out 10 full registration passes to the Wedding Portrait Photographers International convention in Las Vegas in March. I am very pleased to say that I was one of the lucky winners! Unfortunately Dave won’t be attending with me, but I found a great group of girls to go with and I can’t wait to have some educational/girl time! Heaven knows I need it!

Anyways, this image is just a glimpse of something I have dreamed up for an upcoming newborn {preemie} twin session. It’s funny, both of our boys were preemies so you’d think I would feel totally comfortable with this, but to be honest, I’m a little nervous! What if I break one?? Just kidding Lacie!
